Mikyoung Osburn was awarded the FAA June’s Best in Show for her oil painting “Morning Chat at Farmers Market”.
Mikyoung Osburn is an oil painter based in Southern California whose work is inspired by the beauty of everyday life, light, and atmosphere. Working primarily in a representational style, she enjoys painting landscapes, still life, and portraits with an emphasis on color, mood, and expressive brushwork.
Her paintings have been exhibited in numerous regional and national juried exhibitions, and she has received awards from organizations including the California Art Club, Anaheim Art Association, and the Fallbrook Art Association. In addition to her studio practice, Mikyoung is a dedicated art instructor who enjoys sharing her passion for painting with students of all levels.
