Fall Fun with Mini Gourds

Let’s Play with Clay

We will be making Light Up Halloween Ghosts and an Autumn Pumpkin! Come Joint the fun! Get ready to put a big smile on your face when you take a look at your creations. Your creations will be kiln-fired and you’ll be able to pick them up a few days after class back at The Gallery.

Print Making with Igor Koutsonko – September 19, 2026

Join us after the General Meeting on September 19 at 1pm , 990 E. Mission Rd, Fallbrook CA for a Print Making Workshop with Igor Koutsonko.

H plans to demonstrate and teach the Relief printmaking process, Linocut in particular. You will carve a block of linoleum and then print small edition of original prints. You can then make an image of your choice. One option could be handmade Christmas cards. you can print a few of them.

Igor can provide all the materials. He will bring his own carving tools for student to use. Student should bring their sketch books, pencils and paper towels.

The charge for the workshop will be $40 plus a $25 supply fee. Payable to Igor at the workshop.

Soft Pastels with Janet Johnson September 28, 2026

Get ready to create using pastels during this 2-hour class on September 28 from 1-3pm at The Gallery (119 N. Main Ave, Fallbrook CA). You will be learning from an international award-winning pastel artist who has won over 60 exhibition awards and has art collectors locally and nationwide.

Never used this medium but want to try? No problem! There will be some pastels and paper for people to try out who don’t own any pastels currently. Otherwise, bring any pastels and paper (not too large) you have on hand, as well as a foam core board for mounting the paper, a kneaded eraser, and a reference photo if you choose. The instructor will be providing other miscellaneous supplies.

Janet is an Associate member of the Pastel Society of America, a Signature member of the Pastel Society of North Carolina and the Degas Pastel Society. She is also a juried member of the International Guild of Realism as well as several other local and regional art groups.

This is the first in a series of drawing classes that can be taken together or stand-alone. Each class will introduce helpful exercises and basics of drawing that will make your art more fun and creating your artistic projects easier.

Bring your own supplies, at least one drawing pencil a dry media sketchbook, a kneaded eraser and copies of several favorite reference photos.

Regardless of your current skill level, this is a warm and welcoming space where local artists gather.
