Get ready to create using pastels during this 2-hour class on July 27 from 1-3pm at The Gallery (119 N. Main Ave, Fallbrook CA). You will be learning from an international award-winning pastel artist who has won over 60 exhibition awards and has art collectors locally and nationwide.
Never used this medium but want to try? No problem! There will be some pastels and paper for people to try out who don’t own any pastels currently. Otherwise, bring any pastels and paper (not too large) you have on hand, as well as a foam core board for mounting the paper, a kneaded eraser, and a reference photo if you choose. The instructor will be providing other miscellaneous supplies.
Janet is an Associate member of the Pastel Society of America, a Signature member of the Pastel Society of North Carolina and the Degas Pastel Society. She is also a juried member of the International Guild of Realism as well as several other local and regional art groups.
